INTERNATIONAL NEWS: New album I am working on a new album. Lots of people have been asking when it is out. Right now it looks as though I will be able to release it around Europe in Spring 2012. Porgy & Bess In March Noora is traveling with the Royal Norwegian Marine Orchestra around Eastern Norway performing a soul version of Porgy & Bess. Eurovision Norwegian Semifinals Noora is participating in the Norwegian semifinals of Eurovision Song Contest. The song is "Gone with the wind." Semifinal is held on the 29th of January. RELEASE IN BENELUX Noora's album Soul Deep is scheduled for release in Benelux on the 30th of April. More territories to be added later this year. NORWEGIAN GRAMMY Noora won the Norwegian Grammy Award (Spellemann) for 2009 and her album "Soul Deep". The competition this year in the Female Artist category was hard with great artists such as Ane Brun and Hanne Hukkelberg nominated. NE-YO DUET Noora sings a duet with Ne-Yo on the upcoming Disney movie "Princess and the Frog". EUROSONIC PERFORMANCE On the 15th of January Noora is looking forward to go to Gröningen, Netherlands to perform at the live event "Eurosonic". Their schedule is on this website: www.eurosonic.nl BYLARM IN OSLO Noora is performing 2 shows at this years Bylarm in February. Showschedule is Saturday at Sentrum Scene and Friday on a club show at Herr Nilsen. INTERNATIONAL RELEASE OF "Soul Deep" International release of the third album "Soul Deep" is in discussions between the record company and several distributors at the moment. I will come back to firm dates when they are ready. Noora will be touring with her excellent band on international festivals next Summer. MICHAEL JACKSON - "It was with great sorrow I heard of Michael Jacksons death. He has inspired me from the times of Jackson 5 and forward. It is tragic that his death came just ahead of his comeback as a live artist. His music will live on and continue to inspire me and millions of other people for years to come. We had already planned a series of concerts called "Motown Nights" in November and December at a theatre in Oslo. So it will be special doing the old favourite Jackson songs after this.
